When Austin’s The Bright Light Social Hour took the stage in Atlanta, anyone in attendance not already familiar with the band’s unique brand of rock and roll might not know what to expect. The appearance might remind some of the 1960’s hippie look, but the sound was far more reaching.  Effectively blending psychedelic, blues, electronica, and good old-fashioned Southern rock, the group knows how to capture an audience and get them moving.

The band is currently on tour promoting their newest release, Space is Still the Place, with over two dozen dates left.  The set included tracks from the new release as well as their self-titled debut of 2010. Click here for more information and to review the rest of the tour schedule.
