When the 18th edition of the Doheny Blues Festival began on Saturday, many people were compelled to pay tribute to the late B.B. King – who had performed at the Dana Point event three times in the past – in various ways. Some wore the legendary bluesman’s t-shirts, bought his CDs from an on site music vendor and rushed to sign walls in King’s honor.
