Sugar & The Hi-Lows Has ‘No Sophomore Slump’ On New Release

sugar-and-the-hi-lows_high-rollerRootsy, vintage duo, Sugar & The Hi-Lows (Trent Dabbs and Amy Stroup) drop their new album, High Roller and it’s “no sophomore slump” (Paste.com). Released today, June 23, the album has been praised as a “sure bet” (Huffington Post) and includes the press favorite radio single (and title track). USA Today recently complimented the song, saying it “gives off just the kind of vintage rock ‘n’ soul vibe you want to hear when you feel like beating the house in Vegas.” The continual outpouring should come as no surprise for indie veterans Dabbs and Stroup, who are wrapping up their headlining tour this week and will jump back on the road with GRAMMY® winning artist, Kacey Musgraves.

The duo’s “High Roller” music video received over 10K views in its first few days, with a featured spotlight on VEVO.com‘s homepage saying, “No penny slots here. Sway, slide and scoot to this one.” Check out the full video here.
