A total of 20 scholarships, ranging from $1200 to $2000, will be awarded for Metheny’s workshop, including ten scholarships going to outstanding jazz instrumentalists studying at a college or university and ten scholarships going to professional jazz instrumentalists.  Applications must be postmarked by May 18, 2012.  Download the Pat Metheny Scholarship Application

“I am happy to be able to offer scholarship opportunities to deserving applicants this year,” Metheny said.  “I really hope to make this amazing experience available to as many people as possible and encourage you to apply.  Hope to see you in Connecticut.”
