Phil Hamilton Scores First Number One Single With “Bad”

Phil Hamilton has joined the number one club in the competitive Texas/Red Dirt music scene!  His second single, “Bad,” from one of most talked about new albums of the year, RENEGADE ROCK N’ ROLL, reached the top of the charts this week on the Texas Regional Radio Report.   Phil worked long hours with producer, Beau Bedford formally of Jonathan Tyler and The Northern Lights, to give each song their very own special production touch to give fans a broad array of rocking tunes to simple arrangements to hear Phil’s powerful voice on the songs of lost love.

“I just want to thank everybody that helped me have a number one,” exclaimed Phil, “It wouldn’t have happened without my fans support, radio playing the single and all my team behind the scenes.”  I work hard on writing my own songs, and you never know if the public will embrace your music or reject it.  I really appreciate the “Philthy Fans,” who dig my music and spread the word after they see our show out on the road.”

Phil will celebrate with a number one party at Toby Keith’s new, I Love This Bar and Grill, in Dallas this Saturday in Dallas.  “We’re going to have the BADDEST number one party ever for all our fans and friends,” said Hamilton.  The party continues the next weekend with his first ever, “Philthy at the Frio,” float trip June 1-3 at the Buckhorn Bar and Grill in Leakey, TX.  There will be concerts each night with special guests Blue Broussard on Friday night and Camille Sanders on Saturday night.  Phil will be attending CMA Music Fest for the first time to perform at the world famous Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 4:00 p.m.

The first single from RENEGADE ROCK N’ ROLL, “You Can Have Me,” went to number 8 on the charts.  His first album, NOTHING TO LOSE, spun two top 15 singles which were “Nine Mile,” and “Nothing to Lose.”  Phil was born and raised in Burleson, TX.  The new album has taken his tour beyond Texas to Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico, Arkansas, Tennessee and Louisiana as venues and fans discover Phil’s music and demand to see him live.
