Volume 4 Issue 23

Greetings all...

We hope you all had a fantastic Labor Day weekend... lots of good food, hanging out with friends and family.  Labor Day weekend brought the 2009 DragonCon Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Gaming convention to Atlanta and we were there to capture the event in photographs.  They are up on the magazine website. You literally have to see it to believe it!

We have new articles, CD reviews, photos and more for you to enjoy.  Here are the questions: Who's the Man On A Mission?  Who's gotten better with age and still signs as well as he did 30 years ago (hint: "Show Me The Way")?  Who's going to listen to your music and tell you what to do?  For the answers, you'll need to log onto the Music News Nashville website by CLICKING HERE

An upcoming event we would recommend you attend is hit songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman's 2009 Crativity Stargaze seminar.  It's a 3 day event starting October 16.  Click on the graphic below for more information.

As you know from previous mailings, Dan has cancer.  He's asking that you visit his DONATION'S page and help out one of the charities located there in his name... American Cancer Society, National Cancer Institute or the Cancer Research Institute.  To go straight there, CLICK HERE

We've posted a new page on Music News Nashville - CONCERTS. It's under the EVENTS button. Find out who's playing at major venues. If you have a major venue near you that you would like to see included, please email dan and let him know the venue and URL address for it.

Find out where you can send your music to win cash prizes, recording contracts and more.  Visit Music News Nashville and click on FOR ARTISTS/WRITERS on the menu, and then on CONTEST/COMPETITIONS.  There are many new ones up and listed.

If you visit the CLUB LISTING page under Showcases and Events and see a club that either no longer exists or know of one that isn't listed, please send us that information.

As always, we thank you for reading Music News Nashville.  Tell all your friends about us or, better yet, forward them the newsletter.  You can do so with a link at the bottom of the e-mail you received.
