Nashville America Records recording artist, Marty McIntosh, a resident of Gulf Shores and a rising country music star, will celebrate the release of his debut album a hometown crowd on Friday, December 2nd. The singer will be honored at a CD release party for his album The American Night which was produced by country music legend David Frizzell (“I’m Gonna Hire A Wino,” “You’re The Reason God Made Oklahoma”). The event will be held at the Cohiba Dunes Cigar Bar.
McIntosh recently released the second single from the album, which was recorded in Nashville. “She Makes Me Look Good” is at radio now, along with the previously released title track.
“The music industry celebrates in Nashville with events like this all the time,” McIntosh says. “I wanted to bring some of the excitement to my hometown, and I’m so happy to celebrate this album release with friends and fans in the gulf area.”
Local dignitaries are expected to attend the Friday event and McIntosh will perform several songs from the album. A special appearance by David Frizzell is expected. The event is open to the public for a $10 admission; however fans may join in the fun for free with the donation of a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots. Marty will also donate a portion of all album sales during the event to Toys for Tots.
