Lead Singer Of GI Jams Performs At The Great Divide Music Festival August 12

Jeremiah Eaton, lead singer of the GI Jams ® country group Joe Speed Band, who returned to his home state of Wyoming last year from his 2nd deployment in Iraq, will be the opening act at the Great Divide Music Festival in Rawlins Friday, August 12.

Eaton, a Wyoming Army National Guardsman of the 133rd Engineer Company, will perform a 30-minute set  including the band’s tracks “Big and Rich” and “Cowboy Soldiers (Please Send Me A Beer)”, which are featured on the GI Jams Compilation Album, Vol I “The Original Music Of Our GI Jams Military Artists.” The new 14-track CD album, which also includes a ‘battlefield’ music video of his song “Cowboy Soldiers,” made from footage shot during Jeremiah’s deployment, will be available for sale at the festival booth.

The singer/songwriter has been on the promotional circuit in support of the GI Jams Album. On August 4, Eaton chatted up local Wyoming radio station KTGA FM ‘Big Foot’ 99, which also played his 2 cuts from the album. The feature was also broadcast on the local news station KGWN-TV.

GI Jams’ website GIJams.com, created by hit songwriters Denny Randell and Biddy Schippers in 2009, enables military musical artists, active and veterans, of all branches, ranks and rates, to showcase their original music and performances and allows fans and friends to follow their work and buy track downloads on the site. The GI Jams Compilation CD is available at the web site’s on-line GI Jams store. 100 percent of the profits go to the featured artists and writers.
