Joey+Rory Announce Dates For Their Farmhouse Concert Series

joeyrory_may2013America’s favorite country duo Joey+Rory is becoming well known for making a successful career of music-making right at home. The husband & wife music stars have renovated the barn on their Pottsville, TN farm to include a new classic 300-seat performance hall where they will host their infamous Farmhouse Concert Series. The Farmhouse Concert Series includes intimate performances with Joey+Rory and a variety of surprise guests including some of their singer/songwriter friends and family.

As Joey+Rory gear up for the July 16 release of their inspirational album Inspired, Songs of Faith and Family, they are inviting their fans out to their farm in Pottsville, TN for the already almost-sold-out 5th Annual Bib & Buckle Fest on Saturday, June 1 (1-8:30 PM) where each year over 1,500 music fans flock to enjoy a day of food, family and fun. The duo’s now famous farm is where they love to spend most of their time and where they draw on the inspiration for music and family.  Their pre-festival “Farmhouse Concert” on Friday, May 31 is already sold out.

“After touring the country and singing for everyone in their hometowns, we decided to start inviting fans and friends to come to our hometown (actually our home) each to hear some great music, eat good food, and have some wonderful down-home fun!” said Joey Feek.

The gates for Bib & Buckle Fest #5 open at 1 pm and will include everything from kids face painting to a petting zoo and roping demonstrations. Food vendors will be set up including BBQ, chicken, hot dogs, etc and Joey’s own restaurant Marcy Jo’s Mealhouse will be offering special desserts. Other vendors will be set up to sell everything from handcrafted wood works, soap, jewelry and home decor.

The heart of the Bib & Buckle Fest is of course the music. Scheduled to perform is Joey+Rory as well as their friend and legendary singer/songwriter Whisperin’ Bill Anderson, Joey+Rory’s daughter Heidi Feek, Bradley Walker, Austin Cunningham, Carl Jackson, Jerry Salley, Larry Cordle, Ruby Lovett, James Dean Hicks, Alvarado Road Show and The Patterson Family.

Joey+Rory’s musical summer is all focused and in line with what they love the most – faith,  family, home and music. In addition to their Farmhouse Concert Series and Bib & Buckle Fest #5, they will soon begin filming the third season of their hit tv series, “The Joey+Rory Show,” one of the highest rated shows on the RFD-TV cable channel. The show is all filmed in and around their small community, their restaurant Marcy Jo’s and on the specially built soundstage inside their now famous barn. They will release their inspirational album Inspired, Songs of Faith and Family, in partnership with the Gaither Music Group.
