On Saturday May the 3rd, it will be time to turn up the volume and party with some New British Rock and Roll! Steve Cooke will be joined by a group of renowned British musicians (TBA) at this year’s BritWeek R&R event at Molley Malones Rock venue in West Hollywood.
BritWeek was founded in Los Angeles in 2007 by Nigel Lythgoe and Consul General Bob Peirce, to highlight the creative fusion between the United Kingdom and California.
Every Spring, BritWeek hosts a program of events that promotes British creativity, innovation and excellence in California across multiple categories including, film & television, music, art, fashion, design, retail, sport, philanthropy, business, and more.
British American resident Steve Cooke’s powerful 2-hour show will feature a body of work, composed entirely on his 12 string guitars. His current release “Change is Gonna Come”, is playing on German radio and is featured on the US FMQB radio hit disc and enjoying national airplay.
“I love soul and gospel, Sam Cooke is a huge inspiration and I’m truly blessed to be a part of this new Rock/Soul rendition of his song,” said Steve.
A night not to be missed! Keep an eye out for the celebrity musician’s announcements and the final band line up. A party packed night of R&R and electric magic indeed!
