Atomic Aura - Self-Titled

Occasionally, while writing for MNN, I run across something that I might not have the access to review that often. That’s the case with Atomic Aura, a four-man group from Alberta. This group rocks----figuratively and literally. Truth be told, they just might be one of the best “unknown” bands out there.

The group has released a five-cut EP that hopefully will give them some interest from the major labels---who would be well served to go ahead and start prepping the contract today.

On each of the cuts, the guitars are pristine….clear….and LOUD! The arrangements are crisp, and the vocals are impressive. Perhaps the best cut here is the 60s-ish “Throw It All Away,” where the band really gets in a zone…..but as the old saying goes….”It’s all good.” Crank down the windows and turn it up….NOW!
