Brothers Forever - Sheltered

by Bev Moser

Gospel with a bit of Southern Country to almost a Show-Tunes sound these three incorporate a harmony to catch the attention of all ages. They sing traditional Christian music with a new style and twist combined with great vocals and a cd compilation that is well produced to keep you listening to the whole CD.

“I Feel A Blessing Coming On” sets the mood immediately as soon as the CD starts and the feeling continues through the whole package.

“I Can’t Forget The Day” adds some harmonica and an upbeat hand clapping beat that makes you want to shout and clap and stand up and sing along.

Almost a Michael W. Smith sound on “More Than I Know”. A very slow and easy moving sound with lyrics that flow like a quiet mountain stream.

“Showers of Blessings” and “It’s Better” both are very up tempo and the music has you standing and swaying along.

Lead vocals by Curtis Hagy on “I Am Him” show the outstanding talent of this group. Backup harmonies by Gary Ballew and Perry Jones showcase the harmonies that make them stand out from the other groups today. Definitely one of my favorite cuts on this CD as far as the vocals go.

The bonus cut “The Blood Will Never Lose It’s Power” is completely different than anything else on this CD. Lead vocals are deep, very deep bass by Budford Light and a slow moving tempo that is traditional gospel.
