Justin Moses - Dusty Roads

If this were a 'baseball' game instead of a bluegrass project... you'd be putting your money on this one! Justin Moses, lead scorer, has a lineup of top names in the genre of Bluegrass Music to help out on his latest offering Dusty Roads. Hitting a homerun with: Steve Gulley, Randy Jones, Keith Garrett, Chris West, Byron House, Andy Leftwich, Lou Wamp! WOW. Justin shows a head for good business and his new release reflects the man behind the project. He also shows real creativity in his arrangements of a couple traditionals, but most of the work is from his own pen.

Old Federal, an instrumental, is solely, Justin Moses. On Everything! On Turning Point as well it's Justin Justin Justin!! He plays with virtuosity, six instruments. The other terrific tunes, on this hot disc are bits and pieces of Justin, mixed in with his cast of magically musically talented fellows. The title track Dusty Roads, features Justin on Mando wth Andy, Chris, Tim, Lou and Keith. Instrumentally, the boys take turns, rounding the bases and filling in. Pitching in on rhythm and lead guitar is Randy Jones. Andy fiddles his way sportingly throughout this project. Chris West on rhythm guitar Wamp dancing the dobro strings melodically, Byron and Tipton taking turns slappin' the basses. You have your top quality instrumentation right here, and the vocals are sweet too.

Justin on lead, high baritone, and tenor vocals, with some help from Steve Gulley on tenor, Chris West, tenor, Randy Jones throwing in baritone, Keith Garret, on a couple lead vocals, the fellas take turns blending their vocal cord vibes, and they are smooth.

GREAT STUFF! The great game of bluegrass music playing, doesn't get more All Star sounding than this, and it seems like its child's play for the entire team.
