In conjunction with Atlanta-based company, Sixthman, country music legends ALABAMA are inviting fans to join them for their first ALABAMA & Friends Festival at Sea, a musical extravaganza aboard the Norwegian Pearl. The four night luxury cruise will take place October 24-28 and will travel from Miami to Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas.
Joining them for some amazing performances and artist-hosted activities will be country stars Diamond Rio, Craig Morgan, Randy Travis and Meghan Linsey (Steel Magnolia), along with DJ DU, Joe Bachman, Scott Munns, Striking Matches, Hudson Moore, Natalie Stovall Band, Rockit City (with Teddy Gentry), and Jeff Cook and the AGB. For pricing and stateroom options, visit www.alabamafestivalatsea.com.
In addition to the musical entertainment and fun-filled activities, fans will have the once-in-a-lifetime chance of meeting members of ALABAMA and other celebrity guests in an up close and personal setting. Fans will also take home rare memorabilia from the experience, including an autographed cruise poster.
Once leaving the port in Miami, the ship’s first stop will be in Nassau, where guests will have the option of combing the pristine local beaches or exploring the largest city and commercial center of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. They will also have the opportunity to explore the secluded beaches of Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas, for their very own private island getaway. A host of beachside activities, games and more will help to make the stay on Great Stirrup Cay an unforgettable experience.
Norwegian Pearl offers guests access to 13 bars and lounges, 19 dining experiences, one outdoor pool, four hot tubs and spa treatments to help forget about the world left behind. On board concerts aren’t the only things that rock on Norwegian Pearl – passengers looking for more activities can visit the outdoor climbing wall, bowl a few frames at the on board lanes, or tempt lady luck at The Pearl Club Casino.
With more than 73 million records sold, 43 #1 singles and accumulating over 150 industry awards, ALABAMA’s success continues to build decades after first taking the stage back in 1973. They are currently selling out venues on their highly popular Back to the Bowery Tour, which celebrates their 40th anniversary of making music together. The group’s Randy Owen, Jeff Cook and Teddy Gentry have also been in the studio putting finishing touches on their new album, Alabama and Friends, which is slated for release later this year.
